7.0 Earthquake Has Hit Haiti
On January 12, 2010 Port O'Prince, Haiti was hit by an earthquake with a 7.0 magnitude. It is feared that up to 500,000 people may have been killed or injured. In the meantime, aid is being sent through various organizations. Much of it is being bottle-necked in red tape. However, there are many organizations through which we can send aid.

The United States suspended airlifts for Haitians to medical facilities last week. They are scheduled to resume rescuing critically injured people Monday, February 1. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wires/20100201/us-medical-airlift-haiti/

We can send funds and we can pray. Wyclef Jean is calling for Haitians to go home and help our people get back on their feet. The goal is to help Haiti get on her feet without the help of those who will hold her in their debt. When Haiti recovers, we want her to recover fully and owe no one.
